Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking an experienced Associate Financial Advisor to join their client's team. The ideal candidate will be located in Irvine, CA and play a pivotal role in preparing financial plans, facilitating client communications, and supporting strategic financial documentation efforts. This position offers a dynamic opportunity for growth and development within the financial advisory field.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing financial plans through data gathering, evaluation, organization, and input.
  • Handling individual product solutions by running planning software and facilitating interactions with support groups.
  • Communicating with clients regarding their financial situations and objectives.
  • Preparing strategic documentation for client appointments.
  • Utilizing a strong financial planning software background, including tools like SunGard, eMoney, and NaviPlan.
  • Understanding financial planning concepts and recognizing personal and corporate financial documents.
  • Utilizing superior technical skills, including comfort with financial planning software and investment analytical tools like Morningstar Workstation.
  • Exhibiting strong analytical skills with a background in computer systems, mathematics, or finance preferred.
  • Demonstrating excellent listening, oral, and written communication skills, including presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Providing superior customer service with a focus on quality.
  • Maintaining a strong client focus and the ability to independently and proactively analyze and resolve customer service issues.
  • Possessing a background in the Investment Advisory business.

Qualifications

  • Four-year college degree.
  • Two+ years working on financial plans, with an investment background in mutual funds, annuities, or life insurance concepts.
  • At least two years of experience with financial planning software.
  • FINRA Series 6 or 7, 63 and 65 or 66 a plus, or willingness to acquire them.
  • Industry designation(s) a plus (CFP, CLU®, CHFC®, etc.).

Required Work Hours

Monday to Friday, standard business hours.

Benefits

The position offers a competitive annual salary of $90,000 to $100,000, depending on experience.
